Lean Meat

May seem like a strange one, but lean meat can actually boost your metabolism. Why? Because it is full of iron. Water

Ok, so not really a food. But this one is definitely worth mentioning as it works so well. If we are dehydrated even slightly, it can cause our metabolism to slow. This means more weight gain. It also makes it almost impossible to lose any weight. So make sure to drink lots of water throughout the day. Try and have half your body weight in ounces each day. An easy way to see if you are dehydrated is the color of your urine. It should be as close to clear as possible. If your urine is dark yellow, make sure to drink water immediately.
